About the Verizon
Verizon is een vooraanstaand Amerikaans communicatiebedrijf dat een breed scala aan diensten aanbiedt op het gebied van telecommunicatie, draadloze communicatie en breedbandinternet. Opgericht in 1983 als Bell Atlantic Corporation, onderging het bedrijf later fusies en overnames, waaronder die van GTE en MCI, en nam het de naam Verizon aan. Vandaag de dag staat het bekend als een van ’s werelds grootste communicatiebedrijven, met een sterke aanwezigheid in zowel de Verenigde Staten als internationaal.
